The Rally to READ is the most amazing corporate social investment programme. READ is a literacy programme involved with the literacy of children in the rural areas of South Africa, by engaging with their teachers. The Rally was developed by Pam Richardson and sponsored by McCarthy Motors, now a subsidiary of The Bidvest Group Limited. The Rally delivered a library of books to farm schools.
