Birds of Grímsey Island, Iceland
Grímsey Island 40kms off the north coast of Iceland, home to a 100 people and, during the breeding season, one million seabirds, mainly puffins, razorbills, guillemots, fulmars and arctic terns. We travelled to Grímsey with Michael Milicia. Loved the artwork at Das Neues Museum in Berlin, many artists whom we saw for the first time. We were free to photograph at will, without flash. Have played with double exposures of various images from the collection and combined them with images taken of similar scenes from around the world.
